NEW YORK - Shares of some top insurers companies are down at 10 a.m.:
American Internation fell $.03 or 1.6 percent, to $1.84.
MBIA fell $.18 or 3.2 percent, to $5.41.
MGIC Investments fell $.16 or 6.8 percent, to $2.21.
XL Capital fell $.34 or 7.2 percent, to $4.40.
