Burlington Northern fell $1.79 or 2.4 percent, to $72.13.
CSX fell $1.22 or 3.6 percent, to $32.81.
Canadian National fell $.96 or 2.9 percent, to $31.90.
Canadian Pacific fell $1.45 or 4.9 percent, to $28.10.
Kansas City Southern fell $.86 or 4.5 percent, to $18.15.
Norfolk Southern fell $2.37 or 5.0 percent, to $45.25.
Union Pacific fell $1.29 or 2.7 percent, to $45.99.
