NEW YORK - Shares of some top telecom companies are down at 10 a.m.:
AT&T Inc fell $.28 or 1.0 percent, to $27.76.
Qwest fell $.14 or 4.7 percent, to $2.85.
Sprint Nextel fell $.13 or 4.9 percent, to $2.53.
Verizon fell $.67 or 2.1 percent, to $31.46.
