NEW YORK - Shares of some top health care equipment companies are mixed at noon:
Becton Dickinson rose $1.03 or 1.7 percent, to $63.06.
Covidien rose $.41 or 1.2 percent, to $34.56.
Millipore rose $.82 or 1.7 percent, to $49.83.
Patterson rose $.05 or .3 percent, to $18.21.
PerkinElmer fell $.15 or .9 percent, to $16.41.
Thermo Fisher rose $.55 or 1.7 percent, to $33.36.
Varian Medical rose $.65 or 1.8 percent, to $37.77.
Waters rose $.11 or .3 percent, to $39.33.
