Disney rose $1.13 or 5.6 percent, to $21.46.
NY Times rose $.22 or 3.2 percent, to $7.19.
News Corp rose $.59 or 8.0 percent, to $8.01.
Time Warner rose $.49 or 5.8 percent, to $9.00.
Viacom rose $.32 or 2.0 percent, to $16.21.
