The Commissioner, Dylan Ratigan appeared Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe with host Joe Scarborough and the Morning Joe team to discuss the presidential candidates' economic plans and promises.

Dylan on a "Gas Tax Holiday":
Imagine you lost your job, and imagine you didn't have a job for 10 years. Now, imagine you decided you wanted to go on vacation to the South of France, someplace real expensive. Maybe on a safari in Africa. Then you come back from on the holiday and you've got more bills than when you left. That's the Gas Tax Holiday.
Dylan on a "Windfall Profits" Tax:
It's madness, utter madness. Another version of a short term solution to a long term problem. Taking a thousand dollars quite honestly from anybody and giving it anybody else for any reason will solve absolutely nothing.
