Daimler AG rose $.13 or .4 percent, to $30.03.
Ford Motor rose $.13 or 4.8 percent, to $2.83.
General Motors fell $.08 or 1.6 percent, to $4.77.
Honda Motors fell $.88 or 4.3 percent, to $19.71.
Toyota Motor fell $.06 or .1 percent, to $61.89.
