Tory Burch was born in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and currently resides in New York City. Ms. Burch has spent her entire career in fashion; however, this is her first foray into design. Her resume includes time at Zoran, Harper's Bazaar, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang and Loewe.

In June 2008, Ms. Burch won the CFDA award for Accessory Designer of the Year. In November 2007, she was honored by the Accessories Council of Excellence with an award for Accessory Brand Launch of the year. In 2005, the Fashion Group International awarded the Rising Star Award to Burch for best new Retail Concept.
