Time for Fast & Furious -- you know the drill!

ATTENTION SHOPPERS

More retail earnings coming next week. Macke: "Numbers will be lousy, but price action okay."

DOWN ON THE FARM

Deere is announcing earnings next week also. Guy, crediting Karen for the observation: "Each quarter of the last year, they've progressively beat by less. Let's see what happens next week."

CASH IN YOUR CHIPS?

Zach says Applied Materials "has got some really interesting stuff ... with solar equipment and equipment to make solar chips." It's one to keep an eye on, even though they've been "range-bound forever."

SWISS BANK EARNINGS

Karen: "Not too excited" about the upcoming earnings report from UBS, as the auction-rate scandal may still "trip it up."

INFLATION SITUATION

The Consumer Pricing Index is coming out in the middle of next week. Zach: "Be careful about all these statistics. Things like 'hedonistic' pricing mix things up."
