You may have seen a lot of timing changes yesterday with our Mad Money and Fast Money coverage. Blame the Olympics.
You see CNBC, as part of the NBC Universal family, is carrying Olympic coverage during the hours where you usually see the Fast Money traders and stock guru Jim Cramer. Those shows are still going on though, just at different parts of the day.
Through Aug. 22, Cramer will air live at 1:30 p.m. (Eastern time). Another full show airs at 11 p.m. The Fast Money gang is appearing live at 1 p.m. and again at 9 p.m.
This may be a little confusing for regular viewers. But hey, the Olympics only come every 4 years (okay ... there's the Winter ones to fret with too). And if the schedule moves are too crazy for you, you can always catch the show segments here on the site.
But the moves allow us to get material from those shows onto the Web site a little earlier in the day. My hope is that will let some of you folks out there find out how good it is. Sure, sure, some people have issues with both shows. But at least they get the money and you discussions going.
Interesting talks too. For instance, the Fast Money gang has been delving into China plays after the Olympics and Jim had a great talk with Mel Karmazin.
Oh, and for those who asked, yes the staycation/vaction was nice. Kayaking, though, is tougher than it looks.
