Fast Message - We Answer Your Questions

Time to sort through the Fast Money in-box and answer more of your questions.

Paul from Virginia

Paul writes, “Is there any money to be made in Fannie [FNM  Loading...      ()   ] or Freddie [FRE  Loading...      ()   ] preferred stock?”

There is always money to be made, replies Karen Finerman quite sincerely. But I can’t tell you which direction. One year from now it will either be much lower or much higher.

Eric from Alabama

Eric writes, “With oil and natural gas moving lower, what is the downside risk to Schlumberger [SLB  Loading...      ()   ]?

It’s been holding around $90, says Guy Adami. If oil stabilizes I think it’s easily a $98 stock.

Other oil services stocks might be cheaper, adds Pete Najarian, but Schlumberger sure has great exposure.

--------------------

Ashwin from Georgia

Ashwin writes, “What is the ideal timeframe one should use while analyzing a stock using Jeff Macke’s purple crayon theory.

For as long as it holds the trendline, replies Jeff Macke.
