Karen Finerman
On August 8th the Chairwoman discovered a way to turn Penney’s into dollars. At the time she said, “Look at JC Penny’s . They surprisingly raised numbers. I’m getting long.”
Evidently Finerman is quite a seasoned shopper. The department store climbed 9% since her call.
Joe Terranova
On August 15th the Liquidator hit the bulls-eye when he suggested following a Wall Street whale into Target. At the time he said, “Buy Target. Go with Bill Ackman. I like this trade.”
Terranova is also a savvy shopper. Shares of the big box retailer popped 7% since his trade.
Zach Karabell
On August 18th the Academic dug through the numbers to find a mining play. At the time he said, “I think you have to look at earnings from BHP Billiton . They’re seeing incredible strength across the board from oil to copper to nickel.
It pays to get your hands dirty. Shares of BHP Billiton are up 7% since Karabell’s call.
Pete Najarian
On August 11th the Pit Boss suggested that the nearly extinguished nat gas trade would fire up again. At the time he said, “Nat gas has been beaten. It's got an opportunity. I like Chesapeake right now.”
Najarian’s trade was hot. Shares of Chesapeake charged 12% higher since his call.
