WALL STREET MONKEY BUSINESS: THE SEQUEL
After I blogged the parable of the small village and monkeys—comparing it to Wall Street—Sean I. wrote a sequel:
"After the man and his assistant had left, the Mayor of the village announced that the local government would fund the enterprise to keep people employed and the monkey business alive.
"He proposed to do this with the villagers' taxes. Although the villagers were very upset by this prospect, the Mayor did it anyway and then left office quickly, handing over his office and the entire monkey business to his successor."
And a shoutout from Morgan R.:
"Nothing like a good monkey story. And this one explains everything too! And coming from 'Jane' to boot!"
