Munich, 9 June 2008 - CNBC Europe, the leading pan-European business and financial news channel, today announced that it will provide financial video coverage on FOCUS Online’s new portal.

Starting today, FOCUS Online’s stock exchange reports on focus.de will be produced by CNBC, with three reports filed each business day from the Frankfurt stock exchange.  The reports will be produced exclusively for FOCUS Online by CNBC and will be hosted by CNBC Europe presenters including Patricia Szarvas and Silvia Wadhwa.

The CNBC editorial team will report on the worldwide financial markets and will analyse the trends for German investors.  In the morning, the report will look at developments in the international markets and the implications for the start of the German market.  The midday report will analyse developments in the DAX and look ahead to the open of the US markets.  At the end of the day the report will review the highlights of the trading day in the Frankfurt and European markets.

“For us, this cooperation is an important step to enlarge our recently started video offensive,” said Jochen Wegner, chief editor of FOCUS Online.  Since launching in May, FOCUS Online has expanded its video content with about 20 new video formats. “With CNBC we have found the best partner for financial coverage,” added Wegner.
