AP Dallas Cowboys |
I just received the top selling NFL jersey stats from Joanna Hunter at the NFL and the Cowboys have four players in the top 10. Here are the selling jerseys on NFLShop.com from April 1-Oct. 15:
- 1. Brett Favre, New York Jets
- 2. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
- 3. Eli Manning, New York Giants
- 4. Marion Barber, Dallas Cowboys
- 5. Tom Brady, New England Patriots
- 6. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
- 7. Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts
- 8. Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
- 9. LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego Chargers
- 10. Terrell Owens, Dallas Cowboys
That's got to be the most relevant the Cowboys have been on a list like this since 1995, when they had Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders. For what it's worth, Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware--who has six sacks this season--is now at No. 19 on the list, ahead of New Orleans Saints wide running backReggie Bush (No. 20) and New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress (No. 21).
