Lightning Round: Apple, McDonald's, Arch Coal and More

Monday, 20 Oct 2008 | 7:54 PM ET

Eagle Materials : Housing-materials companies are “just too darned hard” right now, Cramer said. Sell these names on any rally-fueled strength.

Arch Coal : Wait for a pullback, Cramer said. These coal stocks have rallied too much off a good quarter from Peabody Energy . And while he likes ACI, he prefers Joy Global .

Lightning Round
You say the name of a stock, and Mad Money's Jim Cramer tells you whether to buy or sell.

McDonald's : Cramer’s bullish on MCD. He recommended buying the stock on any pullback.

Sherwin-Williams : It’s too early in the cycle to own Sherwin-Williams, Cramer said. He recommended that investors wait.

Apple : Cramer will only recommend Apple as a long-term play – 18 months, he said. He won’t endorse a trade on Tuesday’s earnings report.
