The Federal Reserve is widely expected to cut interest rates by half a point, to one percent, on Wednesday in its latest effort to stem the global credit crisis.

Economists and investment pros, meanwhile, are debating whether the Fed really needs to cut at all or should cut interest rates even more than half a point. Tell us what you think.
