S&P changes lineup on several indexes
NEW YORK - Standard & Poor's said Tuesday that it is changing the line-up on several of its indexes after the close of trading on Thursday.
S&P MidCap 400 constituent Wisconsin Energy Corp., which is based in Milwaukee, will replace MGIC Investment Corp. in the S&P 500.
Contract drilling company Unit Corp., a Tulsa, Okla.-based company which is currently on the S&P SmallCap 600, will then move up to replace Wisconsin Energy in the S&P MidCap 400.
And Cal-Maine Foods Inc., an egg company based in Jackson, Miss., will replace Unit in the S&P SmallCap 600, all after the close of trading on Thursday, October 30.
