BATON ROUGE, La. - Louisiana is seeking federal money to help the seafood industry recover from this year's hurricanes.

The Louisiana Recovery Authority said Tuesday it is considering asking for disaster money from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The push for federal disaster money for hurricanes Gustav and Ike recovery comes while millions are still flowing from Washington to help fishermen rebuild after hurricanes Katrina and Rita three years ago.
