Forget WS Ticket Stubs, The Auction Is For Rain Delay Drops
Posted By:Darren Rovell

AP World Series 2008 |
The listing includes a picture of what the seller says is the rain he collected from his front porch in Cinaminson, New Jersey. He does, however, note that he had someone collect rain for him less than five miles away from Citizens Bank Park, where the game was being played.
The listing says that the rain "will be contained in a small vial" and will be no less than 2 millileters. "Some will laugh," the seller says in the listing, "but others will covet this tangible piece of history in the making." It doesn't say anything about helping to grow mold in your house.
