And The Write My Blog Winner Is Brian Gainor

Write My Blog
CNBC.com
Write My Blog

Earlier this month, I announced a "Write My Blog Contest" in conjunction with a long vacation I will be taking. I just finished sifting through a good deal of excellent submissions. Thank you all for your hard work and your interest.

But we can only have one winner.

Brian Gainor
Brian Gainor

His name is Brian Gainor and he's a 25-year-old blogger who lives in Charlotte, N.C., where he works in a sports marketing agency. Brian has an MBA/MSA from Ohio University and, since February, he has been hosting his Partnership Activation blog. It's a site that seeks to identify the best practices in sports marketing.

I was impressed with Brian's entries as well as the content on his Web site and now you can see his work right here on this blog from Nov. 10 through Nov. 13. The week after that you will see a host of guests blogging about the sports business industry. This list will include Sarah Talalay (Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel), Jim Zissler (Inside Sports & Entertainment), PR consultants Kathy Connors and Joe Favorito and the unnamed writer for my favorite Northwestern blog, LakeThePosts.com.

Throughout the two weeks, my producer Tom Rotunno, who is trained in the art of finding the best nuggets in the business, will be posting as well.

Every reporter needs a good break every once in a while, which this will be. But I know with this team coming in, you'll continue to find interesting sports biz commentary here at CNBC.com.
