Metavante Tech names CEO Frank Martire chairman
MILWAUKEE - Metavante Technologies Inc., a provider of banking and payments technologies, said Friday it has named Chief Executive Frank Martire as chairman, replacing Dennis Kuester, who will stay on as a director.
Martire, 61, joined Metavante in 2003 as president of its financial services group.
In addition, Michael Hayford will now serve as president and as chief operating officer. Hayford, 49, joined Metavante in 1992 and has served as senior executive vice president and COO since 2006. He replaces Martire as president.
Shares rose 36 cents, or 2.2 percent, to close at $16.77.
