PURSUING GAME: Most hunters are continuing to pursue their sport this fall, despite the nation's lingering economic ills.
NOT ALL: Some of those who typically pay large sums to hunt trophy animals at exclusive hunting preserves and upscale lodges are cutting back this year because of the poor economy.
HUNTING EQUIPMENT: Sales of hunting equipment are holding up fairly well this year, but some companies have weakening sales and are cutting workers.
