HNI Corp. names new chief for Allsteel division

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Office furniture and fireplace manufacturer HNI Corp. said Tuesday it has named a new president for the company's Allsteel Inc. unit.

Jeff Lorenger, 43, who joined the company in 1998, has held several executive level positions at Muscatine, Iowa-based HNI, a leading manufacturer of office furniture and fireplaces.

Lorenger succeeds Eugene Sung, who left the company.

Allsteel makes chairs, tables, desks and a variety of other work place equipment and furniture.

In addition to Allsteel, HNI manufactures and markets under several other brands including Hon, Gunlocke, Heatilator and Heat & Glo.
