Obama Appears and ... Nothing
Quick note on "behind the scenes" at McCain headquarters tonight. The crowd's getting bigger at the Arizona Biltmore and having a good time! Hank Williams, Jr. will perform later ("Are You Ready For An Upset?").
But right now they're showing some John McCain videos on the big monitors in the ballroom. In one video, they ran old tape of Barack Obama talking down nuclear power.
Now, at every other election night I've ever covered, putting up video of the opponent would draw boos. Here ... nothing. Absolutely no reaction at all.
Resignation? Politeness? Confidence? I report ... you, well, you know ...
