Capital Southwest mulls options for Lifemark Group
DALLAS - Capital Southwest Corp. said Tuesday it hired Raymond James & Associates to help it review options for its wholly-owned portfolio company, Lifemark Group, including a potential recapitalization or sale of Lifemark.
Capital Southwest, a business development company, has owned Lifemark Group, a California-based owner of cemeteries and funeral homes, since 1969. Lifemark posted revenue of nearly $30 million in its last fiscal year.
Capital Southwest cautioned there is no assurance it will enter into or complete a transaction.
