MILWAUKEE (AP) — Sara Lee Corp. lowered its outlook for fiscal 2009 on Wednesday because of a stronger dollar and a higher number of shares outstanding due to the suspension of its buyback plan.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. said Wednesday it expects to post an adjusted pretax loss for the full year 2008 as a result of the weak economy and the ongoing problems in the automotive and airline industries.

MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — Medical-products provider Henry Schein Inc. cut its 2008 profit outlook Wednesday as it plans layoffs and facility closings amid a weaker sales market.

HOUSTON (AP) — Quanta Services Inc., which builds and maintains energy infrastructure, on Wednesday issued fourth-quarter financial targets that are lower than the average expectation on Wall Street.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — For-profit education company Corinthian Colleges Inc. on Wednesday affirmed its fiscal 2009 earnings and revenue guidance.

ISELIN, N.J. (AP) — Intimate apparel maker Maidenform Brands Inc. on Wednesday lowered its 2008 profit and sales outlook to reflect the bankruptcies of department store chains Mervyns LLC and Boscov's Department Store LLC.
