ARMONK, N.Y. (AP) — Bond insurer MBIA Inc. said Wednesday its third-quarter loss widened sharply as it increased loss reserves for its home equity mortgage exposures and continued to rebalance a portfolio.
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (AP) — Athletic footwear maker K-Swiss Inc. said Wednesday it swung to a third-quarter loss, but results beat expectations, helped by the acquisition of French shoe company Palladium SAS.
