Liberty Global boosts buyback program by $250M
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Liberty Global, Inc. on Wednesday said it expaned its stock repurchase program by $250 million.
Under the program, the cable operator may buy Series A common stock or Series C common stock in any combination, on the open market or in privately negotiated transactions.
The new amount comes on top of $250.8 million left under previous authorizations as of Sept. 30, according to a regulatory filing submitted to the Security and Exchange Commission Wednesday.
According to the filing, Liberty Global and 144.6 million shares of Series A stock and 141.1 million shares of Series C stock outstanding as of Friday.
