Global Sources hires Gillan as deputy CFO
NEW YORK - Global Sources Ltd., a Hong Kong-based media company, said Thursday it had hired David Gillan as deputy chief financial officer and eventual replacement for finance chief Eddie Heng, who retires June 30.
Gillan, 44, was based in Shanghai as chief executive of Australian real estate investment trust Dennis Family Corporation Pty. Ltd. from 2003 to 2008.
Shares fell 33 cents, or 4.8 percent, to $6.55 in morning trading.
