CNBC Wins Emmy Award
Business Nation Wins Emmy - "Field of Dreams" Segment Wins for Outstanding Coverage of a Current Business News Story - News Magazine and Long Form

CNBC was honored at the 6th annual Emmy Awards for Business & Financial Reporting for its primetime business news magazine "Business Nation."

"Business Nation" was awarded the Emmy in the category of "Outstanding Coverage of a Current Business News Story – News Magazines and Long Form" for the segment "Field of Dreams." It was reported by David Faber, CNBC's Chief Correspondent of "Business Nation," executive produced by Mitch Weitzner, produced by Alison O'Brien and edited by Allison Stedman. Josh Howard is Vice President, Long Form and Special Programming.

"This Emmy win is a testament to the excellent reporting skills, hard work, and creativity of our news team. Congratulations to all involved," said Jonathan Wald, Senior Vice President, CNBC Business News.

The Emmy Awards for Business & Financial Reporting recognize outstanding achievement in business and financial reporting.

The words "breadbasket to the world" used to refer to the United States. Today, some farmers are finding a new field of dreams, and it's thousands of miles away from the nation's heartland. CNBC’s David Faber takes us to Brazil.
