Deal Site of the Day: SavvyCircle.com

SAVVYCIRCLE.COM: The brainchild of three siblings in San Fran, SavvyCircle is a WebApp that alerts members when the price drops on a "wishlisted" item. The site supports most major retailers (including online biggies like Amazon and Zappos), so after adding products to your shopping list, the site "watches" the price and sends an email when, or if, the price drops. In the meantime, they suggest similar items you may like.

Pros:

User-friendly: Price-tracking sites can become so packed with deals that it's a chore to slog through. SavvyCircle acts as a filter for you, and you alone.

As Easy As Copy & Paste: You can simply copy and paste the URL (read: link) of the item you want into a field at the top of the site's page. It's as simple as that to add a product.

Sharing: With the holiday season upon us, this is a great way to hint to friends and family what you really want, saving everyone time and money.

Cons:

Doesn't Support All Online Retailers: We tried to add an item from UncommonGoods.com, a cute & quirky online retailer, and were told that this site is not "supported" yet. Disappointing.

Mostly Apparel: Though all major big-box stores are represented (BestBuy, Barnes & Noble, even Kmart), the site is mostly apparel-based.

Waiting: Email notifications take time; the site won't deliver coupon codes for instant-gratification.
