Momenta Pharmaceuticals names Sulat board chairman
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Biotechnology company Momenta Pharmaceuticals Inc. on Friday named James R. Sulat board chairman.
Sulat, 58, joined the board in June. He replaces Peter Barrett, who has been on the board for five years and served as chairman since June 2005.
Sulat recently served as chief financial officer and a director for Memory Pharmaceuticals Corp., which announced last month that it will be purchased by Swiss drug developer Roche for about $50 million. He also has served as president and chief executive of Memory.
Momenta shares fell 9 cents to $7.89 in morning trading.
