NYT names Warren general manager of NYTimes.com
NEW YORK - New York Times Co. said Friday Denise F. Warren will take on the role of general manager of NYTimes.com in addition to her post as senior vice president and chief advertising officer of the New York Times Media Group.
She replaces Vivian Schiller, who was named National Public Radio's president and chief executive in November.
Warren, 44, will manage all business operations for the newspaper's Web site.
New York Times shares fell 46 cents, or 5.8 percent, to $7.48 in midday trading. In the past 52 weeks, the stock has traded between $4.95 and $21.14.
