NEW YORK (AP) — Prudential Financial Inc. shares jumped Friday, as analysts said the company's capital and liquidity remain adequate, calming investors' concerns about the insurer's health.

CHICAGO (AP) — An analyst upgraded shares of Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. on Friday, saying the home decor chain's stock is heavily discounted and poised to gain after its competitor Linens and Things completes a liquidation sale.

NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of Bill Barrett Corp. tumbled Friday after Morgan Keegan downgraded the Denver-based natural gas and oil explorer and as crude prices sank to a new low.
