Stocks rose on Tuesday following news of Washington's $5 billion lifeline to GMAC. What follows are video highlights from the investment pros.

Find Value

"Think about names that are down more than they should be... more than the fundamentals justify and were part of the leadership groups from before. I think they have the chance for the biggest bounce. For me, that includes names like Chicago Mercantile [Exchange][CME  Loading...      ()   ], Caterpillar [CAT  Loading...      ()   ]... ChinaMobile [CHLKF  Loading...      ()   ].

- Roger Nusbaum, Source Financial

Stay Optimistic

"We think stocks, as bad as they did this year, are due for a good year next year. In fact, as bad as this year was, we think that's how good next year is going to be."

- David Katz, Matrix Asset Advisors

Katz recommends Bank of New York Mellon [BK  Loading...      ()   ], Dell [DELL  Loading...      ()   ], Devon Energy [DVN  Loading...      ()   ], McGraw Hill [MHP  Loading...      ()   ] and Yahoo [YHOO  Loading...      ()   ].

Maintain Equity Exposure

“If you can have that time horizon, and if you can have a strong stomach, I do think you should be maintaining your equity exposure, if not increasing it. Let's be patient; let's give it time; but there is opportunity, and I think people should be going shopping now… I'd be looking at things like apparel, VF Corporation [VFC  Loading...      ()   ] an excellent name there, great dividend yield, very inexpensive price tag, and even financials, a strong name like BB&T [BBT  Loading...      ()   ], just raised their dividend, fantastic balance sheet, very strong capital ratios there.”

- John Buckingham, Al Frank Asset Management

Buckingham also likes ConocoPhillips [COP  Loading...      ()   ].

Think Big

It [Caterpillar [CAT  Loading...      ()   ]] will be among the first companies to recover when global building comes back, and if it doesn't, the company makes plenty of money from service and parts, and you get that big, giant dividend… Boeing [BA  Loading...      ()   ] will have delivered 364 planes this year. That's not as many as last year, but it's something like 130 more planes than it delivered in 1995; I say that because it's now at its 1995 price."

- Jack Hough, “Your Next Great Stock”

Hough is bullish on General Electric [GE  Loading...      ()   ], Intel [INTC  Loading...      ()   ], Harley Davidson [HOG  Loading...      ()   ] and Northrop Grumman [NOC  Loading...      ()   ].

Bullish On Consumers

“Over the next 36 months, JNJ [Johnson & Johnson [JNJ  Loading...      ()   ]], when you include the dividend, will offer investors a 15 percent-plus annualized return. I think there are lots of stocks in the consumer sector that will be able to do that."

- Bill Spiropoulos, CoreStates Capital Advisors

He also likes Citigroup [C  Loading...      ()   ].
