        The Toyota Prius has been dominating the hybrid car market, but the company is facing more competition from other automakers that are now making hybrids. “It may be tougher to dominate,” said Toyota President Jim Lentz, “but we think…the overall hybrid industry will start to grow.”

    • Chrysler Plans Ahead 

        Rumors have been swirling about Chrysler’s future, but CEO Bob Nardelli says that the company’s efforts to rebuild have been effective.

    • Ford Goes Electric 

        Despite launching new hybrid and electric vehicles, Ford CEO Alan Mullaly says demand for the new vehicles will drop if gas prices remain low.

    • General Motors Goes Lean And Green 

        Currently working to rebuild GM, CEO Rick Wagoner says fuel-efficient vehicles are a major long-term factor in the industry's recovery: "It's our bet that energy prices, and oil prices…are going to begin to rise again," he said.
