Multi-millionaire businessmen and brothers Andrew and Robert Kissel had it all... beautiful families, mansions, country clubs, and fast cars. They appeared to live charmed lives. Andrew Kissel
Andrew was a New England Real Estate mogul. A multi-millionaire with a beautiful family, cars a yacht and an $18 million dollar estate. But, Andrew's had secrets, about his life, his marriage and his business dealings.

The Scam
Andrew Kissel bilked his co-op building of nearly $4 million dollars by falsifying the amounts paid for repairs and maintenance and pocketing the difference.

Special Agent Steven Garfinkel of the FBI discovered that Andrew Kissel had filed several fraudulent mortgage releases in order to secure loans worth millions of dollars.

Charged with Fraud

At the time of his death, Andrew Kissel was under house arrest and facing state and federal charges for swindling more than $40 million dollars in bogus mortgages and other scams.

Andrew’s Murder
Andrew Kissel’s body was found in the basement of his home in Greenwich, CT, less than three years after his brother Robert was murdered in Hong Kong.

The Chauffeur

Carlos Trujillo was Andrew Kissel's chauffeur and personal assistant for six years before he was accused of murdering Andrew. Leonard Trujillo was charged with the murder of Andrew Kissel, along with his cousin Carlos. Currently they are in prison awaiting trial.

Robert Kissel
Rob became a successful investment banker eventually running the Hong Kong office of Merrill Lynch. With a million dollar salary and bonuses, he had a luxurious life abroad with wife Nancy and the kids. But, underneath Rob’s perfect veneer was a crumbling marriage and infidelity.

The Bride and Groom

Robert married Nancy Keeshin who at the time was an art student and restaurant manager living in New York City. Nancy told friends she’d met "the one" and they married on September 10, 1989.

The Kissel House in Vermont

Rob and Nancy lived in Hong Kong. But, when SARS hit Asia, Nancy Kissel fled to the couple’s home in Vermont with their children where she met Michael Del Priore, a television repairman whom she subsequently had an affair with.
