Inaugural Obamabilia
It's safe to say Barack Obama memorabilia is breaking records as some of the most popular merchandise in the history of the world over the last two and half months. From QVC to the Merrick Mint, millions are being made in the business of Obama collectibles. We put together a slideshow to show you some of the great stuff you can buy.

To coincide with the January 20 landmark Inauguration Day of the first African-American and 44th president, New Era Cap will release the Barack Obama-Inspired 59FIFTY cap collection. The Barack Obama-Inspired collection features designs and definitions drawn from the phrases that made his campaign one to remember, including “Hope,” “Dream,” “Change,” and “Progress.” The caps are priced at approximately $35.

The Merrick Mint is also selling a gold-plated quarter set that has colorized pictures of Obama moments. It sells on QVC for $29.95.

This is Topps' Obama trading card set. Packs can be bought for $1.99. There are 90 cards and 12 stickers in the complete set, each displaying a photo of Obama in various points throughout his life.

In the entire set, there is one specific card that is of interest to collectors: The Pup Redemption Card. This “Wild Card” of sorts entitles the holder to later redeem a card featuring the dog yet to be chosen by the first family.

Mitchell Rose, maker of the "Obama '08" sneaker, is hoping to cash in on the inaugural hype. The sneakers sell for $59.99, come in white and black, and have the number 44 stitched to the tongue in honor of the soon-to-be 44th President of the United States.

For just under $1 million dollars, you can own art created by Barack Obama in his formative years. Found on eBay.com, the artwork is claimed to contain President Obama's childhood signature. Proceeds from the auction will go to The More You Know Foundation.

The Historic Victory Plate featuring the President-Elect surrounded by the American flag and fireworks sells for $19.99. This first collectors issue plate contains the inscription "Change Has Come" scripted in 22K Gold text.

The Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery announced January 7 that it acquired Shepard Fairey's mega-popular iconic collage depicting the would-be president with the word Hope, one of the most memorable images from the election. "What I think is so fascinating is the ubiquitous nature," said Carolyn Carr, deputy director of the Portrait Gallery.
