As I mentioned before, my flight is loaded with people headed for Davos.
Here are a couple of people in the next row: auto analyst John Casessa, who will be weighing in on what the troubled auto makers should be doing; and global real estate advisor Barry Gosin, who is participating on a panel on securitization and the future of commercial mortgage intermediation. (We'll catch up with Gosin, an 8-year Davos veteran, later this week on Squawk.)
But the headline of this flight: George Soros is on board.
On commercial.

It's a breath of fresh air, just one day after the news Citi has a fancy new elite private jet on the way.
A real man of the people!
