Internap names Eric Cooney as new CEO
ATLANTA - Internap Network Services Corp., which manages data centers and routes Internet traffic, on Thursday named Eric Cooney as its new president and chief executive.
Cooney, 42, was also named to the Internap board.
He replaces James DeBlasio, who resigned but will remain president and CEO until Cooney assumes his new responsibilities on March 16.
Cooney served most recently as president and chief executive of Tandberg Television, part of the Ericsson Group.
Shares of Internap fell 56 cents, or more than 17 percent, to close at $2.64 Thursday.
