This would make Boozer, who is recovering from left knee surgery, one of a handful of NBA players who has appeared in a Super Bowl spot.

And Boozer's former teammate LeBron James was the star of a Bubblicious commercial four years ago.
Although Boozer is an All-Star and Olympian, he might not be the first name that comes to mind when you think crossover star.
Boozer's agent Rob Pelinka told us that Boozer's appearance has to do with the fact that Overstock.com, an online discount retailer, is based in Salt Lake City.
That has enabled Boozer to develop a close relationship with the company's CEO Patrick Byrne and Stormy Simon, Overstock.com's senior vice president of branding and customer care.
The spot was filmed prior to the start of the NBA season, but the Super Bowl appearance would be the first time it has ever run.
Neither Karl Malone nor John Stockton, obvious Jazz greats, have ever cracked the Super Bowl ad lineup.
