Aside from spending to stimulate the economy, President Obama will also need to spend to keep Americans safe too.

In fact, the Congressional Quarterly says the Defense Department will probably be allowed to spend up to $527 billion in 2010; that an 8% increase year over year.

What defense sector names would benefit from future defense spending?

Big ticket items might get slashed and that means a company like Lockheed could get hurt. However, money should continue to go into homeland security, says Guy Adami. In the space I like L-3 Communications . "They're a well run company and they trade below 10 times forward earnings."
