Anadarko Petroleum is Cramer’s top natural gas pick right now, he said during Wednesday’s Stop Trading!. The sector may be down today, but this stock “should stand out.”

Cramer attributed the declines to a “devastating” Jeffries call on both Devon Energy [DVN  Loading...      ()   ], saying the company didn’t have enough cash flow to cover its drilling, and the entire group. But Anadarko [APC  Loading...      ()   ], which smartly hedged its natural gas costs, is in much better position to ride this out, he said.

“If you want to be in natural gas,” Cramer said, “go with APC.”

The CEOs of Goldman Sachs [GS  Loading...      ()   ], JPMorgan Chase [JPM  Loading...      ()   ], Bank of America [BAC  Loading...      ()   ], Citigroup [C  Loading...      ()   ], Morgan Stanley [MS  Loading...      ()   ], Wells Fargo [WFC  Loading...      ()   ], State Street [STT  Loading...      ()   ] and Bank of New York Mellon [BK  Loading...      ()   ] were on Capitol Hill Wednesday, testifying before Congress. Cramer's charitable trust owns Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo.
