] ad with Jimmy Rollins for the Air Swingman Remax. We wanted to make sure you all saw it.
As for how it was done, we're told by Dick's chief marketing officer Jeff Hennion that they used foam balls and sound effects were added later. But Hennion reports that they did so many takes that it went on for 2 1/2 hours and, after a couple hundred foam balls in the chest, it started to get a little uncomfortable for Rollins.
One of the best parts of the commercial is the "Do Not Attempt" line. We forget how stupid people are sometimes.
