Why is this firm a rising star stock?
"I’m intrigued by retail in general because it is so out of favor," explains Karen Finerman. However if you watch Fast Money reguarly you know that the Chairwoman won't touch a retailer that doesn't have their books in order.
So it comes as little surprise that Finerman is impressed by American Eagle's balance sheet. "The company has significant scale and tons of cash," she explains. And Finerman also thinks "they should be able to contain some of their costs such as rent expense."
With so much going for it, American Eagle is this week's rising star stock.
