Here's what happened when we last left CF...

] -- that's right, CF turned their backs on a $3.6 billion offer and coldly said, just not interested.
And like the pretty cheerleader and the homely chess club geek, the rejection was harsh. CF said the bid was grossly inadequate, and beyond that, it would prefer to purse the object of its true affections, Terra Industries [TRA

] and upped their bid.
Ah, but like any good drama – there’s a twist.
Terra isn't interested in CF. In fact, Terra says it wants nothing to do with CF. And the Terra board urged shareholders to reject any kind of marriage.
What will happen?
Terra doesn't want to merge with CF. And CF doesn't want to merge with Agrium.
How will the story end?
I think Agrium will probably need to bump their bid to get CF, says Karen Finerman.
