We spoke with Lowell Singer's office at Disney's Investor Relations, which confirmed Jobs' non-appearance at the event. Had he attended, it certainly would have been newsworthy since it would mark Jobs' first public appearance after announcing his medical leave of absence in January. It would also be newsworthy since Jobs missed his own company's shareholder meeting a few weeks ago, the first one he hadn't presided over since returning to Apple in 1997.

Alas, it isn't true.
Jobs is Disney's largest individual shareholder, thanks to the company's purchase of Pixar Animation Studios, with 138 million shares. One investor reportedly asked Disney CEO Bob Iger about Jobs' health, concerned about Jobs' stake suddenly hitting the market for some reason. Iger dismissed the question saying it isn't something the company concerns itself with. Incidentally, Jobs and Disney's entire board were re-elected
So there you have it.
