The Outsiders

It sounds like a scene from a movie; a handful of rebels make a stand. They’re just a group of toughs going against the grain, unaware of the norm.

Of course you won’t find Ponyboy in a black leather jacket in our story. And there's no Matt Dillon coming to the rescue.

Nope, all you'll find here is a group of fit companies that are hiring workers and raising dividends. With lay-offs and slashed dividends becoming the norm, these firms might seem like outsiders but the Fast Money traders thinks these stocks belong inside your portfolio.

Guy Adami

I’d look at Jefferies [JEF  Loading...      ()   ], counsels the Negotiator. Where everyone else is cutting they’re hiring. I think they set up well for the new Wall Street.

FTI Consulting [FCN  Loading...      ()   ] looks interesting, says the Chairwoman. They’re consultants that help companies in severe distress. This is the boom time for them.

AT&T [T  Loading...      ()   ] is on my radar because they’re going to be spending 18 billion going forward, says the Pit Boss. They could be hiring as many as 3,000 people to build out the wireless side of the business. At it’s a 7% dividend yield at a $23 dollar stock price.
