Sector: HEALTH CARE
• Health care will generate 3 million new wage and salary jobs between 2006 and 2016, more than any other industry.
• Most health care workers have jobs that require less than four years of college education.
• Wage and salary employment in the health care industry is projected to increase 22% through 2016, compared with 11% for all industries combined.
• The health care sector added 27,000 jobs in February alone.
